  • SOPLEX becomes an expert partner of “KREFO.de,” the first web-based portal for credit and collection managers.

2012:

  • Enjoying strong order books, SOPLEX gets the new year off to a good start – not only with major international projects but a growing number of mid-sized companies are also embracing the innovative business-oriented solutions by SOPLEX that are easy to use and provide tangible support for users in tackling their daily workload and leave users across the board convinced that SAP solutions by SOPLEX are simply smart.
  • SOPLEX continues to grow, including our offices: construction for our new offices were completed in time and we moved into our new premises at the beginning of February; at the same time, we extended our range of services as well. In addition to application-oriented courses at SOPLEX academy we will also hold different events, expert panels and round table discussions in our event area in the future.
  • To accommodate the growth, numerous activities and responsibilities will be assumed by PASCon AG as of 2012, the parent company of SOPLEX. This includes software development and connected services such as SAP translation services and application consulting for the software group "Information Connectors".
  • SOPLEX develops Bürgel Connect 4.0. In this process, the software Bürgel Connect was fully revised. Version 4.0 does not only support current Bürgel information products, but also offers a range of new functions. Execution of retrieval of information and the administration of data now have improved support and processing. In addition to PDF integration this also includes the option to automate internal processes.
  • SOPLEX enhances services for its customers and introduces SSP – SOPLEX Service Portal – in March which provides a host of useful features and functions. At the same time, SSP also makes CSS – Customer Service System – available, an internet-based ticket system. With CSS customers and SOPLEX use a joint platform to process customer inquiries. It provides maximum transparency to organizations about the status of their inquiries and are integrated in the SOPLEX-internal service process.
  • SOPLEX enhances services for its partners and introduces SPM – SOPLEX Partner Management – in June which provides a host of useful features and functions. With SPM we have created a modern platform for collaboration for our partners. It increases service for joint projects and customers.
  • SOPLEX increases its volunteering efforts. In August, it is one of the main sponsors of the first Unicare Trophy, a charity golf tournament by Unicare e.V. Unicare e.V. supports activities to support children and young people, especially from disadvantaged families.

  • SOPLEX receives order to develop SAP add on BISNODE Connect for integrated management of BISNODE information products from D&B Schweiz.
  • After a pilot phase of several months, SOPLEX introduces the SPP – SOPLEX Project Portal – in October. SPP replaces our previous project management tool and offers a host of new features that will further simplify collaboration in the project. In the development of the application we could fall back on our experience from numerous successful projects.
  • Launch of Bürgel Connect 4.0. After the pilot phase of Bürgel Connect 4.0 was completed successfully, the software is now launched. The product launch is backed up by an attractive promotion for Bürgel customers and those who want to become Bürgel customers. The new version could already convince existing customers and the first migration projects will be started this year.
  • The successful campaign "Hire4Growth" is paying off. During the last months we could not only win a number of new hires but also start the "SOPLEX Trainee Program" in November. Here graduates, newcomers from different areas or SAP consultants are trained to be SOPLEX consultants in a dual training system. Requirements for our trainees are complex: In addition to subject-related topics for credit and collection management and an SAP training, participants have to acquire knowledge about SOPLEX products. Not an easy task with currently more than 60 software solutions.
  • Expertise, SAP know how and SOPLEX product knowledge – the objectives of our trainee program.
  • Quality for us means that the satisfaction of our customers is at the heart of all we do. To be even better at it we introduced SQM – SOPLEX Quality Management. With "If there is an opportunity to improve something we'll find it" as our guideline we revised our processes and introduced organizational measures to further improve the quality of our services and products. Internal processes as well were revised in the scope of SQM and realized in the organization in the scope of an ORGA project. Here we optimized communication structures, introduced systems, standardized processes and further increased employee motivation.
  • SOPLEX in 2012 has an above average growth rate despite a difficult market environment – we could again achieve a double-digit increase in revenue and gain numerous new customers. Well-known organizations, from medium-sized companies to DAX-listed corporates trust SOPLE software and consulting expertise. In addition to interesting national projects we could also realize a host of international projects so that our software is now used in more than 100 countries around the world.

2013:

  • 2013 as well starts very positively: SOPLEX starts the year with the highest order volume in our history. According to our customers, the reasons for the excellent order situation are the innovative product portfolio and the extensive expertise of SOPLEX consultants and developers. This confirms our approach and motivates us to continue our strategy.
  • As of January 1, the Customer Service Center (CSC) started operation. With the CSC we expand service for our national and international existing customers. In the CSC we centrally bundle out product and application expertise: our expert team of application consultants and developers provides support for installations and queries from both customers and partners.
  • SOPLEX remains an innovation driver in the industry this year as well. After the new SOFTWARE GENERATION was already successfully used for collection management solutions, we are planning to migrate other tried and tested software modules to the new architecture. Here the scope of functions is extended significantly and users are also given the option to automate their processes using the SOPLEX Workflow Engine.
  • In spring we could successfully complete development of the new release of SOPLEX CM. SOPLEX CM 3.0, as the field-tested collection management solutions, was developed on the basis of the new software generation, which significantly enhanced its scope.
  • After we entered a cooperation with D&B Schweiz last year for the development of the SAP add on BISNODE Connect, the solution was launched this spring. With the development of Bisnode Connect for Switzerland, SOPLEX further expands the international character of its product portfolio.
  • In 2013 as well, the success of the "Hire4Growth" campaign of SOPLEX continued. We have made numerous new hires since the start of the year. In the scope of the new recruitment strategy, SOPLEX attended the job fair Connecticum 2013 in Berlin in April and talked to students, graduates and young professionals about career opportunities in our up-and-coming and family-friendly organization.
  • SOPLEX and EGELI Informatik AG from St. Gallen, Swiss market leader for non-SAP collection software announce their cooperation. Objective is the launch of a collection management and collection solution for SAP on the basis of the tried and tested SOPLEX modules that supports specific Swiss requirements.
  • Start of development of SOPLEX BA (Balance Analysis) Connect. The software is the logical next step to provide, in addition to a professional balance analysis with SOPLEX BA, our customers an online connection to an international financial and market database in the future.
  • Launch of release 3.0 of SOPLEX CM. The current credit management projects are already realized with the new version; at the same time, the software is presented to existing customers. Our customers' feedback to SOPLEX CM 3.0 is exceedingly positive, the first release change projects are scheduled for this year.
  • Development of the new version of SOPLEX LD EGVP (Legal Dunning). Here in addition to new functions, current legal changes are realized as well.
  • The cooperation between SOPLEX and Egeli is taking shape. Both organizations present the SAP collection management solution "Swiss Collect" in the scope of a roadshow event in front of a selected group of prospective buyers in Switzerland. The positive feedback is a crucial factor for the preparation of the scheduled product launch in fall of 2013.
  • Development of a new version of SOPLEX CI (Credit Insurance) and Euler Hermes Connect. Here, in addition to new services by Euler Hermes, new features for the analysis of insured receivables are implemented. In this segment as well, our innovation means we are a step ahead.
  • Launch of Creditreform Connect 2.0. In addition to the presentation of the software before an audience of interested experts, the first release change projects are already realized for existing customers.
  • In September 2013, another SOPLEX software solution was successfully certified by SAP AG. "LucaNet Connect" now provides certified SAP integration of software solutions of our cooperation partner LucaNet AG, specialist for consolidation, planning, reporting and analysis.
  • After months of preparation we have launched iSUG, the "international SOPLEX User Group", due to user requests. iSUG is to be a user community and a platform for users to network and exchange information about specialist topics. We support iSUG with the development and operation of a virtual internet platform and other exclusive services.
  • On September 17, 2013, Swiss Collect, the SAP collection management suite for Switzerland was introduced to a wide expert audience in the form of an event at Prime Tower in Zurich. Here, interested organizations could see the scope of the software in live demonstrations.
  • SOPLEX enhances its solution portfolio and now offers process-supporting infrastructure components that accompany the specialized solutions and further optimize internal processes. The infrastructure solutions can enhance both SAP standard and SOPLEX solutions. They make business transactions more efficient and can be executed independently of the SAP platform.
  • SOPLEX WF (Workflow) is the infrastructure solution for the optimization of workflows and administrative business processes. It meets all requirements for an efficient SAP-integrated process handling. SOPLEX WF allows definition, documentation and improvement of workflows, standardization, rationalization and simplification of routine tasks, efficient control of subsequent processes and reduction of costs. SOPLEX WF achieves both increase of efficiency and competitiveness.
  • SOPLEX presents the new infrastructure solution SOPLEX IE (Integration Engine), specifically for organizations with mixed IT landscapes. SOPLEX WF enables the connection of non-SAP systems to data managed in SAP and makes them accessible to staff without direct SAP access. The Engine is an add on to the SAP core, links web services, integrates in the existing system landscape of the organization and used SAP standard tools for continuous integration without complications. SOPLEX IE makes standard scenarios of SOPLEX applications available and achieves a significant workflow optimization.
  • SOPLEX offers a new version of Lucanet Connect, our highly flexible data extractor. In consideration of common authorization objects, Lucanet Connect can, if needed, select any SAP data in SAP and output them to external applications. With this connector SOPLEX goes a step further in the development of solutions for the integration of data maintained in SAP in non-SAP systems.
  • The SOPLEX newsletter is available. It is a new information service for our customers, interested parties and business partner that reports news, events, product information and services regularly. You can sign up for our newsletter quickly and simply via the newsletter box on our website under "News".
  • SOPLEX prioritizes the development of web-based solutions and presents this new SOPLEX technology in October to a selected group of customers. The SOPLEX solution in form of a web application was received enthusiastically. The application is helpful, amongst others, for exports and consultants who travel a lot, as they more and more rely on executing their business on mobile devices.

2014:

  • SOPLEX receives the biggest individual order in the history of the company. In an international major project with high specification effort and required multi-language capabilities, SOPLEX proves its expertise and capacity in complex projects. In the scope of an extensive international SAP implementation project, highly adaptive SOPLEX solutions are integrated in the diversified IT landscape of the major customer.
  • The SOPLEX Campus opens. It is the central education entity of SOPLEX Consult GmbH that has the objective to organize and perform all internal and external training activities. Furthermore, SOPLEX Campus is the education intersection for our academic and operating partners. The SOPLEX Campus provides knowledge transfer in both directions and its functional and organizational integration. Competent and experienced experts ensure quality of teaching. The use of the latest technologies and practical test systems ensure a high degree of success in both learning and teaching. In addition to the internal perspective and the exchange with cooperation partners, SOPLEX Campus will in the future also offer selected courses to customers and interested parties.
  • SOPLEX enters development partnership with SAP. For years we have been an Extended Business Member of SAP, now our business relationship intensified and reaches a new quality. With the new development partnership, SOPLEX heads toward SAP HANA, the In-Memory database technology of the future. SAP HANA is not only a groundbreaking appliance to search and calculate great data volumes, but at the same time is a solution platform on which development partners can realize new approaches in the environment of real-time applications. SOPLEX fully exhausts this opportunity and builds extensive know how in SAP HANA with the objective to develop SAP HANA-based solutions in the future. With our commitment to SAP HANA we guarantee full support of technological developments by SAP on both product and service level for our customers and partners.
  • SOPLEX enters development partnership with IBA Group. IBA emerged from IBM and today is the largest IT service provider in Eastern Europe. It has technology centers in Belarus, Czechia and Kazakhstan. IBA has extensive SAP know how in both consulting and development.
  • In May, SOPLEX and Stellwerk Consulting GmbH enter a strategic cooperation. In selected projects, we will jointly perform concept, realization and support as well as project management and quality control for implementations or roll outs, migrations or release changes.
  • In the scope of SOPLEX Campus we cooperate with the Berlin School of Economics and Law (BSEL). Jointly with BSEL, SOPLEX will in the future offer university places in the dual courses Business Information Systems and Computer Science. With the early expert training of future junior employees, SOPLEX follows a sustainable approach in regard to skilled staff retention. At the same time we assume our social responsibility for the training and advancement of young people.
  • SOPLEX develops an SAP solution that supports all processes of an extensive address research. SOPLEX ARS (Address Research System) provides an SAP-integrated connection to databases of leading providers of address information. SOPLEX ARS supports the entire process of address research directly in SAP. SOPLEX ARS noticeably reduces the workload of accounting clerks and significantly reduces manual tasks. Current address data are always available and can be used in different processes – in credit and collection management or with marketing and sales activities.
  • SOPLEX in the future enables the integration of business and credit rating information and credit insurances in the FSCM environment of SAP. For the first time, SAP users can manage business information and credit insurance limits fully integrated in SAP. Clerks no longer have to perform complex queries and information retrieval via online portals or other media – all tasks and processes can be fully performed in SAP.

2015:

  • SOPLEX acquires the biggest individual order in its history: In a major project for SAP-integrated execution of collection processes, numerous SOPLEX modules are implemented. In addition to the expertise, the experience of the project staff and a professional project management are the foundation of a successful project.
  • SOPLEX performs far-reaching changes in its operating activities. With the start of 2015, all projects are planned, performed and monitored centrally by the Project Management Office (PMO). With its new multi-project management instance, SOPLEX optimizes the organization of the software implementation and upgrade projects. The importance of the PMO is further emphasized with the staff increase in this area.
  • The activities of strategic extension of the business portfolio are bundled in Business Development starting this year and built as a separate business area. SOPLEX in this move allows for the changes in the strategic orientation of SAP that focuses on the development of partner business.
  • SOPLEX on SAP HANA: Interest of our customers in technological advances in the SAP environment rapidly increases this year. The support of the In-Memory platform SAP HANA is the focus of our activities. We ensure that the SOPLEX solutions also run on SAP HANA and our customers can benefit from the added value of this symbiosis. This includes the development of web apps for the user interface SAP Fiori with which SOPLEX applications can also be used on tablets and smartphones in the future.
  • SOPLEX will realize further growth with an active partner management. The partner management will be integrated in Business Development and the corresponding departments will provide support in the operative realization – from Product to Project Management, from Marketing to Customer Service. The entire SOPLEX team is committed to our partners and achieves satisfaction with efficient processes and open communication.
  • Our customers are especially active and satisfied user of SOPLEX solutions who want to benefit from the new functions in current versions. Release change projects are a focus of our activities: whether in information management, credit or collection management – the new versions of our solutions are widely accepted. Roll outs to additional subsidiaries are common as well – SOPLEX solutions are currently deployed in more than 100 countries around the globe.
  • The SOPLEX partner community is growing: in April, Regis24, the only independent comprehensive provider for information management, and SOPLEX enter a strategic partnership. Regis24 is a credit agency whose information allows informed decisions for establishing contacts, risk assessment, fraud prevention and portfolio assessment. Jointly with Regis24, SOPLEX has the objective to process address research in SAP and thus noticeably relieve users when performing routine tasks. The partnership with Regis24 at the same time means strengthening the market position in the area of address management.
  • In May, SOPLEX held its customer forum. The annual customer event is a popular tradition. This year as well our customers were eager to learn about new developments in credit and collection management, SAP environment trends and SOPLEX news. The customer forum was accompanied by a nice get together the evening before where guests participated in a program typical for Berlin
  • SAP-integrated address management with Regis24: With our new software "Regis24 Connect", organizations have the opportunity to perform address research directly from SAP. Regis24 provides information from both internal and external databases, e.g., relocation and deceased databases and databases from cooperation partners and registration office queries. Update and completion of master data supports organizations in sale and marketing activities, i.e., also the early detection and minimization of business risks and efficient collection measures.
  • As of June, the SOPLEX website has a new design with revised content and increased usability. Structured by topics, software and consulting, the website is well designed and modern. At soplex.de users can learn about relevant issues in regard to credit and collection management, valuation of receivables and vendor rating. The software solutions received a new design as well and are presented in a clear structure and easily comprehensible. In addition to information about the software products, visitors can also learn about the SOPLEX service portfolio, from numerous consulting services, development services and the training offers in the scope of SOPLEX Campus. The event area provides information about event such as regular webinars, conferences and training courses and visitors can register to these events right on the website. As a new service for our customers, the customer service ticket system was integrated in the new website – now customers have a direct connection to SOPLEX.
  • The numerous webinars SOPLEX offers give interested organizations extensive virtual information about numerous topics and solutions. The SOPLEX webinar offers in the first half of 2015 include topics from receivables valuation to address management, judicial dunning, credit assessment, vendor rating to the integration of business information and credit insurances in SAP FSCM. Users are very interested in learning about the benefits of SAP-integrated solutions with our web presentations – free of charge.
